Knocked out players will respawn but will leave behind half their collected crystals.
There are two rulesets available: Crystal: Get points by collecting the crystals in the stage. The Grand Prix mode is currently playable in private matches. At a mid-time blocks will begin falling down during the match. When players get blown off, they respawn in 5 seconds. Returning from Super Bomberman R, the Grand Prix mode returns, 6 players will split up to 2 teams, and go through a rule(depending on which rule you choose), and try to win the most points. Areas will begin to close down as the clock ticks and players must pass through the gates to the other remaining areas before the timer runs out! Gameplay players will automatically be placed in one of many areas at the start of each match, and must battle it out against other players in the same area.
